Starting a blog and going travelling before I turn 30 are two of the items on my official bucket list that I will be ticking off.
But the challenge is already complete before I’ve even left the country, so I’ve set myself the following tasks along the way.
Here is my 9 bucket list items to do while travelling:
ONE: Watch the sun rise from the Great Wall of China.
TWO: Have a conversation (at least 5 minutes) with a (safe-looking) stranger who does not speak a word of english.
THREE: Try out local means of transport where possible
FOUR: Go to a restaurant, order something recommended by a local and then eat it (for anyone who knows me, will know this is the most challenging – veggie phobe).
FIVE: In each of the 9 countries, I must visit (AT LEAST) one of Trip Advisors top rated coffee shops and review
SIX: Hug a Panda!!! (Highly unlikely and probably frowned upon, so I’ll settle for seeing a Panda in China)
SEVEN: Do something I really don’t want to do, but that I’ll never get the chance to do again. No idea what this will be, but when it happens I’ll just know.
EIGHT: During travels, find somewhere amazing and live there for one week.
NINE: Learn how to meditate/relieve stress – This will come in handy when I return home.
I feel like I need a 10th one… so if you have any suggestions let me know.
